There is a certain 'allure' about a cool, spring morning in mid March that sets it apart from any place in time. The sounds, smells, sights, feel and changing foliage all chime in sync signaling a new season. There is one bird that sounds off at the start of spring like no other; he shows off his beauty for all to see, and if you take a walk through the dogwoods, you can hear his springtime song. I love the spring as it grabs something inside me and clenches tighter than any other season. The allure and humbling feeling these birds can give us is something that I cannot explain. At least, I cannot express it in words, but I can show you...
My calls are, first and foremost, made to be used in the field hunting turkey's. If a call is made that does not have the sound of a turkey, it isn't used. I don't care how good a call looks, if it cannot talk turkey, it is useless in my hands. I make every call with the same quality and craftsmanship as I would have in my hands with me on a hunt.
